Rodalies train
There is only one train line (called R2 Nord)
 from the
airport (Terminal 2) to the city. You will find the Airport train station at the bottom
of the map (line R2 Nord is in light green). You can access
the Airport train station by following the RODALIES signs
, walking
through a white and red elevated brigde that you'll see as soon as you walk
out the terminal (there is only one bridge, and there are signs indicating
the train). Trains depart every 30 minutes from 5:42am to 11:38pm. You must
get off at PASSEIG DE GRÀCIA, which is the 4th stop. It takes 25 minutes
from the Airport to PASSEIG DE GRÀCIA, (Price: 4.60 EUR).
Metro
There are metro stations at the two airport terminals
 Take L9 line
Taxi By taxi. From the airport to Pl. Catalunya should take around 20-30 minutes
and expect to pay around 30 EUR, depending on traffic. It is usually a good
idea to ask for a receipt. There will also be an additional surcharge charge
for each bag you're carrying If you arrive to Barcelona by train then you will probably arrive at
either Estació de Sants or Estació de França.
From Sants you can take a local train or a metro to Pl. Catalunya, and
continue as above. From França station you should take a metro to
Pl. Catalunya from the nearby Barceloneta stop or simply walk up La Rambla
to Pl. Catalunya (1.5 kilometres).

The University is located in the center of town. Coming from the north, merge
into highway C33 from A7 towards Barcelona. After a while, follow signs to "Rondes"
and, in particular, to "Ronda Litoral". This is (half of) a belt that
surrounds the city bordering the see. You must take exit 28 ("Glòries - Gran
Via") which will take you into the city. Once you find the first light, you are
already in "Gran Via", the street where the University is. But this
is a one way street (and not your way). So, make a right turn and immediately
a left, to take the parallel street "Diputació". Follow this street
for a good while until you find "Balmes". Make a left there and you
will see the university building on your right at the end of the block.
Fares and timetables are up-to-date (February 2020).
